Casey Jobson

HR Manager at Star Of The West Milling Co.

As Human Resources Manager for Star of the West, Casey is committed to cultivating the company’s growth. Star of the West is a leader in the agricultural industry, serving customers in the flour, wheat, bean, grain and agronomy areas. The continuous success is due to our dedicated employees and their commitment to building relationships through extraordinary service, a deep knowledge of the market and the talent needed to find new and innovative ways to add value and create solutions.

Casey has more than a decade of experience in Human Resources, including 7 years of experience in a Union environment as a Human Resources Business Partner for Nexteer Automotive. Prior to her time at Nexteer, Casey’s early experiences in the agricultural industry sparked her future career at Star of the West as she was a part of the co-op program her high school ran.

Star of the West is actively involved in building great communities where we live and work. The Michigan-based Milling Company has expanded from one mill to five flour mills today, in four different states, and nine country elevators handling corn and soybeans, processing edible beans and providing local farmers with their crop inputs. The daily flour milling capacity now stands at 33,400 cwts, making Star of the West the 11th largest miller in the United States.

The history of Star of the West Milling Company further illustrates the quality and character of the people who have lived in and helped to make Frankenmuth grow.
