Flexible Spending Accounts: What to know as we approach year-end

This year has brought changes in all aspects of life and this is also true in the benefits world.  One particular benefit offering that has seen changes is Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).  FSAs have been the subject of many questions from employers as their employees navigate how to handle legislative changes and surplus balances.  Additionally, for many plans, we’re heading into Open Enrollment season and this year’s open enrollment will be unlike any other. 

In this session, Scott Riordan, Head of Sentinel’s Health & Welfare Team, will provide employers with the information that they need related to FSAs in 2020.  In particular, the following topics will be covered:

• A review of the legislative changes in 2020 due to COVID that impacted FSAs
• A look at some new FSA plan features that Sentinel will be rolling out in the coming months
